My core focus is bridging the gap between low-level system configuration and high-level institutional governance — a transition that began not in a server room, but in real estate. Having operated as a real estate broker, I spent years managing complex asset transactions, contractual compliance frameworks, and strict legal risk boundaries. Transitioning into cloud computing allowed me to apply that exact same operational precision to digital assets.

My technical work centers on building hardened IAM architecture and automated GRC pipelines for highly regulated sectors, including eCommerce, financial services, healthcare, and federal environments. This focus on structured, high-stakes infrastructure stems directly from that background — where a missed compliance requirement wasn't a failed test, it was a failed transaction.

"Secure by design and auditable by default."

Whether deploying enterprise identity solutions on RHEL 10, orchestrating configuration standards with Ansible playbooks, designing AWS cloud-native pipelines, or writing automated Python tools to detect privilege escalation, I engineer systems to be secure by design and auditable by default. Compliance shouldn't be a lagging, reactive check — it's an active architectural layer engineered directly into the infrastructure from day one.

I created ReneeBuilds as a living technical blueprint, documenting the end-to-end development lifecycle in the form of a multi-project engineering portfolio spanning federated identity, secrets vaulting, and automated cloud logging. If you're building or securing regulated infrastructure and want to connect, I'd welcome the conversation.

The Foundation

Computer Science & Mathematics background applied to identity lifecycle architecture, access control vectors, and cryptographic security.

The Architecture Stack

Building zero-trust pipelines using RHEL 10 automation, Ansible configuration management, and AWS Cloud Architecture.

The Governance Lens

Years of enterprise-level compliance oversight derived from high-value real estate transaction management, translated directly into technical validation for PCI DSS, NIST SP 800-53, and SOX ITGC baselines.
